I personally have no need for a VPS as that would be for medium to high end uses (I only host some small websites, so normal hosting is best for me) You should bother getting a VPS to work if you know that you'll be using a good portion of its resources

It can be possible that the mysql server takes a longer amount of time to respond than localhost, which could cause lag.

I still use godaddy because there is good service, and I haven't had any problems with it before.

What's everybody's favorite browser? Mine is either Firefox or Chrome
