Hi, not sure if this is the right forum to ask in, but here ya go.

If I were to go with your Windows hosting package, would I be able to run the e107 CMS?

Windows does support PHP and mysql. I show the requirements as

Minimum
  • A Web-Server (Apache or Microsoft IIS) running PHP v5.3 or higher and MySQL 4.x or 5.x.
  • FTP access to your webserver and an ftp program such as Filezilla
  • Username/Password to your MySQL Database
So yes technically it would work. Generally I feel if you do not need MSSQL or ASP don't go with windows.

Thank you for the reply.

The main reason for my question is, is because I just purchased a "windows/php etc" plan, and half the chit doesn't work. Including thier "1 click installs" of apps. At best they partially work. Majority of the time though, 500 Server errors with anything to do with php hehe.

Anyways, I'm a software engineer by trade, and for local stuff I just spin up a vm.
I know for a fact that the e107 CMS works on Windows under many different php versions.

So the question in a way still remains. Will your Windows hosting package run e107 CMS?

Btw, give me temp access and I can tell you within 10 minutes if you don't know for sure lol.
